Vision or Excuse, Which Do You Have?

What is the vision for you from where you sit?  What are the possibilities for you as you see them?  Are they full of promise?

Our response when someone asks these questions of us is usually positive.

But in the quiet when it’s just you listening to you, are you reciting from what Wayne Dyer calls,  your excuse catalog?

Does your catalog of excuses read something like this: too old, don’t have enough money, will take too long, don’t know the right people, they won’t let me and of course the big one, it’s too hard.

Time to delete yNo Excuses Green Road Sign and Cloudsour catalog of excuses and replace it with all the reasons your view for you should be wide and expansive and full of promise.

“There is nothing standing in your way of living at your highest levels,” says Wayne Dyer.  “You have an unquestionable ability to eliminate excuses; they’ll get up and go when they’re revealed as the false beliefs that they are”.

Excuses are also clever.  They disguise themselves in a variety of ways, including some that seem urgent.  Some excuses have been around for as long as we can remember.  It is amazing how resilient excuses can be; they keep coming back as if they are confident that we will never kick them out for good.

Well, its time for a change.

Your Vision Green Road SignExcuses are like the bogey man from our dark dreams of youth.  If you shine a light on them and reveal the truth about them, they dissipate into thin air.

So go ahead, declare that its time to let the excuses go.  Declare that it’s time to get out of your own way.  Declare that its time to start living the life you want to live.

Take one small step; get rid of one excuse this week. You can do it.  I know you can.
